| Obverse description | The central field displays the full coat of arms of the Republic of Liberia, featuring a shield bearing a sailing ship at sea, a palm tree, and a rising sun, supported by crossed tools and flanked by two decorative supporters, with a scroll above bearing the national motto THE LOVE OF LIBERTY BROUGHT US HERE. The date 2000 is divided across the field to either side of the arms.
