| Obverse description | The central field displays the coat of arms of Liberia, featuring a sailing ship at sea, a palm tree, a rising sun, and a plough with a spade on the shield, surmounted by a scroll bearing the national motto 'THE LOVE OF LIBERTY BROUGHT US HERE'.
