| Obverse description | The obverse displays the national coat of arms of Liberia centrally in the field, depicting a sailing ship at sea with a palm tree and rising sun on the shore, surmounted by a scroll bearing the motto 'THE LOVE OF LIBERTY BROUGHT US HERE' and flanked by decorative supporters.
