Reverse description The reverse, struck in a distinctive fan-shaped puzzle format and finished in gold-plated relief against a darkened field, depicts Mousewoman nestled within an eagle's wing, rendered in the formline design tradition of Northwest Coast Indigenous art. The central motif presents the supernatural figure's ovoid facial features, with bold black formlines delineating the composition against the gold-toned surface. Vertical ribbing elements in the lower field suggest the structural feathers of the enveloping wing, while interlocking curved forms fill the surrounding space in characteristic Haida artistic style. The piece forms one segment of a larger multi-coin puzzle series.
