Reverse description A finely detailed bust portrait of a mature white-tailed deer buck (Odocoileus virginianus) rendered in high relief, occupying the central field and facing slightly left. The buck's impressive multi-point antlers are selectively gold-plated, providing a striking contrast against the frosted silver surfaces of the body and the deeply mirrored proof field. The legend CANADA 2014 arcs along the upper periphery, while the denomination 20 DOLLARS is inscribed along the lower border. The engraver's initials DMc appear in small letters at the lower left of the design.
