| Reverse description | Central square frame inset with a mosaic of baguette-cut blue crystal stones, evoking the lapis lazuli and faience inlays characteristic of ancient Egyptian royal artifacts, with a single amber-colored crystal at the top centre. Flanking the frame, engraved in low relief against a stippled field, are two symmetrical Egyptian goddess figures in traditional hieratic pose, with stylised lotus and papyrus columns flanking each side. At the lower corners of the frame, two gilded lion-head terminals in high relief recall the throne's feline leg adornments. The inscription 'THE GOLDEN THRONE OF TUTANKHAMUN' appears below the frame in incuse lettering, with 'MASTERPIECES OF ART' running vertically along the left rim and the date '2015' at the top. A serial number is engraved within the central inset panel, confirming the individual piece within the limited edition. |
