| Reverse description | The reverse presents a dramatic full-colour depiction of a Canadian summer thunderstorm over a rocky Shield landscape, designed by Arnold Nogy. Two powerful lightning bolts, rendered in vivid yellow and applied colour, streak across a turbulent, brooding sky rendered in shades of grey and purple. In the middle ground, a windswept pine tree stands on a rocky islet surrounded by choppy water, evoking the iconic Group of Seven aesthetic. The engravers' initials TB and AN appear to the lower left of the central design.
