Reverse description The reverse presents a dramatic full-colour depiction of a Canadian summer thunderstorm over a rocky Shield landscape, designed by Arnold Nogy. Two powerful lightning bolts, rendered in vivid yellow and applied colour, streak across a turbulent, brooding sky rendered in shades of grey and purple. In the middle ground, a windswept pine tree stands on a rocky islet surrounded by choppy water, evoking the iconic Group of Seven aesthetic. The engravers' initials TB and AN appear to the lower left of the central design. The legend CANADA arcs along the upper rim, while 20 DOLLARS 2015 is inscribed along the lower rim, all in Latin characters.
