Obverse description The obverse features the fourth definitive effigy of Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt, depicting the Queen in right-facing profile as a mature sovereign aged approximately 77 years. The bare-headed portrait shows Her Majesty adorned with a necklace and earrings, rendered in fine relief against a flat field. The surrounding legend reads ELIZABETH II D·G·REGINA, affirming her title by the Grace of God.
