Part of the RCM's long-running fine silver $20 series, this issue depicts the shore pine native to Canada's Pacific coast — a species shaped almost entirely by its environment, contorted by coastal winds into forms that rarely resemble the same tree twice. The series averaged several releases per year through the mid-2010s, targeting the collector-subscriber market rather than circulation, and virtually all examples remain in original packaging.
