Reverse description The reverse features a richly colored winter Christmas scene depicting a snow-covered village at night, with warmly lit stone cottages, a central evergreen tree, lamp posts adorned with wreaths and blue bows, and snow-capped mountains and pine trees receding into the background. Above the village scene, the upper field is occupied by a polished mirror surface scattered with engraved and colored snowflake motifs of varying sizes, alongside four-pointed star accents. At the center of the upper field rests a three-dimensional Murano-style art glass angel figurine in translucent teal blue with white wings and a yellow halo, applied as an inset. The legends CANADA arcs along the upper left, with 2016 and 20 DOLLARS inscribed horizontally at the top, and the engraver's initials JC appear discreetly in the lower right field.
