| Obverse description | Right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II at approximately 77 years of age, bareheaded, wearing a necklace and earrings, after the portrait by Susanna Blunt. The legend ELIZABETH II and D·G·REGINA appear around the upper and lower periphery respectively, with CANADA and the date 2020 flanking the effigy. The denomination 20 DOLLARS is also inscribed in the field, accompanied by the initials SB denoting the portrait artist and P indicating the proof finish. |
