| Reverse description | The reverse depicts the celebrated Nova Scotian fishing and racing schooner Bluenose under full sail, shown underway on open, wind-swept seas with detailed rigging, hull, and wave work rendered in high relief against a proof-polished field. In the upper left quadrant, an inset holographic insert enclosed within a geometric octagonal frame portrays the Bluenose in iridescent multicolour, shifting with the viewing angle. The engraver's initials FW appear discreetly to the right of the vessel.
