Additional information

Canada's .9999 fine silver bullion and collector series expanded rapidly through the 2010s as the Royal Canadian Mint aggressively pursued the collector market with high-purity issues tied to Canadian wildlife subjects. The goose series in particular drew from a long institutional tradition — the Canada Goose had appeared on Canadian coinage as far back as the 1967 centennial dollar, designed by Alex Colville.

KM#2631 is one of several near-identical wildlife issues from this period that share the same $20 face value and planchet specification, distinguished primarily by subject and surface treatment.
