Reverse description A heraldic eagle displayed with wings spread occupies the central field, facing dexter, with a United States shield on its breast. The eagle clutches an olive branch in its right talon and a bundle of three arrows in its left talon, closely modeled on the Great Seal of the United States. The firm name CLARK GRUBER & CO. arcs around the upper periphery, and the date 1860 appears in the lower exergual area. The design is framed by a reeded border consistent with the obverse.
