| Obverse description | At centre, within a raised heptagonal cartouche, the uncrowned right-facing effigy of King Charles III, engraved by Dominic Thomas, with the legend '20 DOLLARS · CHARLES III' arcing above and 'COOK ISLANDS' below within the cartouche. The broad surrounding field is entirely covered in a tactile bubble-wrap texture relief, interspersed with delicate floral vine motifs.
