| Reverse description | The reverse depicts the fossilized skull of Regaliceratops peterhewsi, a ceratopsid dinosaur that lived approximately 69 million years ago, rendered in finely engraved detail beneath a layer of black rhodium plating. The textured engraving evokes the hard concretion in which the skull was entombed when discovered on the banks of the Oldman River in southern Alberta.
