A green frame decorated with abstract forms in which the `20` values are presented. Multicolour printing known as `rainbow printing`. Each banknote has a seven-digit serial number with a 2-letter prefix. The number on the left is printed in red while the number on the right is printed in blue. On the left is an illustration of the `Coat of Arms of Canada` and on the right is a portrait of Elizabeth II, Queen of England and the Commonwealth.
Reverse description
In the middle is a view of Moraine Lake and the Valley of Ten Peaks in Banff National Park in Alberta. To the right and left are abstract forms in which the values `20`, `TWENTY` and `VINGT` are represented.
