Obverse description The Chiremba Balancing Rocks of Matopos National Park occupy the central vignette, rendered against fine guilloche underprint work in muted tones. The Zimbabwe Bird emblem, printed in colour-shifting optically variable ink, serves as the primary security device on the face. Denomination numerals, the issuer's name, and the promise-to-pay legend complete the typographic framework.

Reverse description The Hwange Thermal Power Station forms the central intaglio vignette, its cooling towers and chimney stacks drawn in fine line engraving against a light guilloche underprint. A vertical security band along one margin carries repeated denomination numerals and alternating geometric motifs with latent-image properties. Bold corner numerals '20' appear at the upper left and lower right in letterpress.
