Reverse description Central intaglio vignette of a violin with its bow and a clarinet arranged diagonally across a fine multicolour guilloche ground in green, blue and red wavy-line patterns. A circular Deutsche Bundesbank seal bearing the Federal Eagle is positioned to the right of the instrument group, while a denomination cartouche with the numeral "20" and "DM" indicators appears at left. Denomination numerals in large script occupy the four corners of the note.
