Reverse description The reverse is printed in olive-green and dark tones on a pale ground, with the entire central field occupied by a large, intricate guilloche rosette from which the denomination legend ZWANZIG DEUTSCHE MARK emerges in bold relief lettering. Numeral 20 counters appear at each corner within the guilloche border, and a detached guilloched oval medallion bearing the numeral 20 is set to the right of the main panel. A counterfeiting warning legend is contained in a ruled panel along the lower margin.
