Reverse description The reverse is executed in deep brown and ochre tones, dominated by a large, symmetrical guilloche rosette vignette at centre composed of interlocking lathe-work lobes, through which the words "ZWANZIG DEUTSCHE MARK" are overprinted in bold serif lettering. Denomination numerals "20" appear in each corner within fine engine-turned cartouches. A secondary guilloche medallion with the numeral "20" is positioned at the far right outside the main frame, and an anti-counterfeiting warning legend is set in small letterpress within a ruled panel along the lower border.
