| Obverse description | The obverse is based on the 1913-dated Austro-Hungarian Bank 20 Kronen note, carrying a Romanian 'TIMBRU SPECIAL' overprint applied for circulation in Transylvania and the Banat. To the right, a female portrait vignette is set within a guilloche border, rendered in blue-green intaglio. The centre-left field bears the Hungarian-language text 'HUSZ KORONA' in bold letterpress, flanked by the bank's title 'OSZTRAK-MAGYAR BANK' and two facsimile signatures below, with a large guilloche medallion bearing the numeral '20' at centre. |
