| Obverse description | Three-quarter right-facing effigy of King Sobhuza II in traditional Swazi royal regalia, including a beaded headband adorned with feathers and a ceremonial collar with geometric patterning. The portrait, modelled by engraver Michael Rizzello, displays fine detail in the king's beard and headdress ornaments. The legend SWAZILAND curves along the lower portion of the scalloped field. |
