| Reverse description | The reverse is conceived in the style of a traditional Chinese cash coin, centered on a square hole surrounded by an elaborately engraved field. Two stylized deer rendered in a flowing, ornamental manner leap dynamically above and below the central aperture, their bodies decorated with swirling scroll-work motifs evoking classical Chinese decorative art. The entire background is densely covered with repeating Chinese characters in varied calligraphic styles, principally auspicious characters relating to fortune, prosperity, and blessings, creating a richly textured, deeply struck surface. No Latin legends appear on this face. |
