| Obverse description | The Jamaican coat of arms occupies the central field, featuring a quartered shield bearing five golden pineapples, supported on the dexter by a female Taino figure and on the sinister by a male Taino warrior, each in traditional dress. A crocodile passant serves as the crest above the shield, and a flowing scroll below bears the national motto.
