| Reverse description | The egg-shaped reverse presents a dramatic high-relief composition of two Microraptor Gui specimens in full flight, their four feathered wings spread wide and rendered with fine engraved detail against a matte rose-copper field. A rocky mountainous landscape occupies the lower portion of the design, from which gilt fossil skeletal remains of the Microraptor Gui emerge in striking partially gilt relief. Chinese characters rendered in gilt are inscribed in the lower field alongside scattered gilt bone elements. The legend 'MICRORAPTOR GUI' arcs along the upper border in Latin script, with 'Dinosaurs in Asia' inscribed along the right edge, and the date '2022' appearing at the base. |
