Obverse description Uncrowned, draped bust of King Charles III facing left, rendered in high relief after the effigy designed by Dominic Bonuccelli. The legend CHARLES III curves along the left rim, and AUSTRALIA 2025 curves along the right rim, with a central dot separator at the top. The engraver's initials DT appear incuse in the lower field near the truncation.

Reverse description A vibrant pad-printed design depicting the Rainbow Serpent, a central figure of Australian Aboriginal mythology, in its characteristic sinuous form rendered in multicoloured hues above a second serpent coiled among rocks. Aboriginal figures are depicted to the right of the composition. The commemorative legend arcs around the upper and lower fields, enclosing the coloured central design.
