Obverse description At right, an oval vignette of the Flower Pagoda of the Temple of the Six Banyan Trees in Canton, rendered in fine intaglio engraving. At centre, a large guilloche rosette bearing the Chinese denomination characters 貳角 (twenty cents), surrounded by intricate lathe-work underprint. The bank title 中央銀行 appears at top in Chinese characters, with two facsimile signature lines for General Manager and Assistant Manager below the central vignette.
