| Obverse description | Right-facing draped bust of Jean-Claude Duvalier occupying the central field, engraved by Soccorsi. The circular legend REPUBLIQUE D'HAITI arcs along the upper rim, while JOURNEE MONDIALE DE L'ALIMENTATION curves along the lower rim. To the left of the effigy appears the FAO emblem incorporating the date 16 OCT 1981, commemorating World Food Day. The overall design is rendered in a restrained neoclassical style typical of Italian mint work. |
