Reverse description The reverse presents a bold, large numeral '20' dominating the central field, with horizontal line shading visible within the numerals. The denomination word CENTAVOS is inscribed in large capital letters beneath the numeral. The upper periphery bears the legend TRANSITORIO (meaning 'Provisional'), arching around the top of the coin. Small decorative crosses flank the legend at either side. The overall design is utilitarian in character, consistent with emergency revolutionary coinage of the Mexican Civil War period.
