| Obverse description | The Bolivian national coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting within an oval cartouche a llama at the base of a mountain range beneath a radiant sun, flanked by a palm tree and a breadfruit tree. The shield is surmounted by a condor with outstretched wings and is supported on each side by crossed cannons, rifles, and Bolivian flags, with sprays of laurel and olive branches below. A row of nine six-pointed stars arcs along the lower rim. The circular legend REPUBLICA DE BOLIVIA runs along the upper periphery in raised Latin lettering, and the entire design is bordered by a milled inner ring. |
