Reverse description At centre, a coiled five-clawed imperial dragon facing forward in high relief, pursuing a flaming pearl positioned at the centre of the design — a motif emblematic of late Qing imperial coinage. Above the dragon, a horizontal band of Chinese ideograms records the reign period and the act of minting. Below, a curved English legend in Latin script identifies the issuing empire and the coin's metal. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded inner border, consistent with the standardised Tai-Ching-Ti-Kuo copper coinage series.
