Obverse description Central field dominated by a large Kannada character within a circular motif, rendered in a bold, cursive style characteristic of early 19th-century Mysore coinage. Flanking the central character are dot clusters and floral or leaf-like decorative elements arranged symmetrically across the field. The lower portion of the field features a stylized elephant motif rendered in low relief, a dynastic symbol of the Wodeyar rulers. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border following the coin's irregular hammered flan. The overall composition reflects the traditional South Indian hammered copper coinage aesthetic of the Mysore princely state.
