| Reverse description | The central intaglio vignette presents the Monument to the Battle of Carabobo — a multi-tiered stone plinth surmounted by an equestrian group and allegorical figures — set against a fine guilloche underprint in green and peach tones. The Venezuelan national coat of arms with decorative foliage appears at left. "BANCO CENTRAL DE VENEZUELA" runs across the top, "VEINTE BOLÍVARES" along the lower margin, and the numeral "20" is repeated at each corner within a scalloped border. |
