| Obverse description | Uniformed bust of King Rama X (Vajiralongkorn) facing slightly left, rendered in high relief with fine detail to the facial features, collar, and military attire. The effigy occupies the central field, with a curved Thai-script legend along the left and right periphery identifying the monarch by his full royal title. The portrait is executed in a naturalistic style consistent with Thai commemorative coinage of the reign. |

Issued to mark the centenary of Thailand's Public Prosecution Institution, established in 1923 under King Vajiravudh (Rama VI) to consolidate prosecutorial functions previously scattered across competing ministries. The office gained its current independent status only in 2000, when constitutional reforms separated it from the Ministry of Justice — a change that remained contentious among legal reformers for years afterward.
