| Obverse description | Draped bust of King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) in three-quarter right profile, depicted wearing spectacles and a suit with tie, rendered in high relief against a smooth field. The effigy occupies the upper and central portion of the obverse, with the king's characteristic features rendered in careful detail. A curved Thai-script legend arcs along the left and lower periphery, reading the king's full royal name, and continues along the right rim. |
