Reverse description At center-right, a beaded inner circle frames the conjoined left-facing effigies of Emperor Franz Joseph I in military uniform and Empress Elisabeth (Sisi) wearing a crown, their names ERZSÉBET and I. FERENC JÓZSEF inscribed in small lettering beneath the portraits. To the left of the double portrait, the elaborately detailed coat of arms of the Austro-Hungarian Empire is depicted in high relief, surmounted by the Imperial Crown of Austria and the Hungarian Royal Crown. At the top of the field, within an ornate cartouche surrounded by a decorative sunburst motif, the dual dates 1867 and 2017 commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Compromise. The word KIEGYEZÉS (Compromise) arcs prominently along the lower border, and the engraver's monogram KI appears in the lower field.
