| Obverse description | Printed in black Fraktur letterpress on white paper with red-brown ink, the obverse carries the bold denomination heading '20 Milliarden Mark' at top, flanked by vertical oak-leaf border ornaments in red-brown; a serial number appears at upper right and a boxed validity notice at upper left. The central vignette is a red-brown letterpress illustration of the tall-masted sailing vessel 'Pamelia' moored before the Wolgast harbour skyline, with a church steeple visible in the background. Below the vignette, a redemption clause names the Stadthauptkasse and Städtische Sparkasse in Wolgast, dated 1 November 1923, with a violet circular magistrate handstamp applied at lower left and facsimile signatures of two officials beneath the issuing authority line. |
