Obverse description Green and orange bicolour notgeld on plain paper, with a Gothic-script header naming the Kreiskommunalkasse zu Marburg across the top. The large-denomination value "Zwanzig Milliarden Mark" is set in bold black Gothic typeface at centre, flanked by two small architectural vignettes — a church or chapel at left and a tower or monument at right — both rendered in orange against a green guilloche-patterned underprint. The lower portion carries the issuance conditions, date of 27 October 1923, multiple manuscript committee signatures, series letter C, and the printer's imprint of W. J. Becker, Marburg.
