Obverse description The Polish state emblem — a crowned white eagle with wings displayed and talons extended — occupies the central field. The circular legend RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA arcs along the upper periphery, while the date 2006, split either side of the eagle's talons, appears in the lower field flanked by dot separators. The denomination numeral 2 is prominently positioned at the base of the design, with the currency abbreviation ZŁ appearing on both sides, also separated by dot ornaments. The mint mark (MW) of the Mint of Poland appears in small characters beneath the eagle.
