Obverse description The Polish crowned white eagle, serving as the national coat of arms, is depicted in high relief at the centre of the field, its wings spread and head turned to the right. Below the eagle, a stylised crenellated city gateway with an arched entrance is rendered in low relief, referencing the historic fortifications of Świdnica. The circular legend RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA arcs along the upper periphery, with the date 2007 and the mint mark MW positioned to the right, while the denomination 2 ZŁ appears to the lower right of the eagle.
