Obverse description The crowned Polish eagle (national emblem) is depicted at centre, superimposed over a relief map of Poland in the field. The circular legend RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA arcs along the upper periphery, with the date 2004 continuing along the right. The mint mark MW appears to the right of the eagle's tail feathers. The denomination 2 ZŁ is inscribed at the base of the design in two lines.
