| Obverse description | The Polish state emblem occupies the central field: a crowned white eagle displayed with wings spread, rendered in high relief with detailed feather work and talons. The circular legend RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA arcs along the upper periphery. The date 1998 is divided by the eagle's body, with '19' to the left and '98' to the right, flanked by decorative dot sequences. At the bottom of the field, the denomination numeral '2' appears prominently between the abbreviations 'ZŁ' on either side, all separated by further dot ornaments.
