Obverse description The obverse features the crowned Polish White Eagle displayed at center, rendered in fine relief with spread wings and head turned to the right, serving as the state emblem of the Republic of Poland. The upper field bears the circular legend 'RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA' flanked by the date '2007' to the right, all in Latin characters. In the lower portion of the field, a stylized architectural frieze depicting a section of a historic city gate or fortification wall with an arched passage is rendered in low relief, serving as a decorative motif referencing the Polish Cities series. The denomination '2 ZŁ' appears to the right of the eagle in the field. The mint mark 'MW' (Mennica Warszawska) is found below the eagle.
