Obverse description The obverse features the Polish state emblem — a crowned white eagle displayed with wings spread, rendered in fine relief at the centre of the field, with stylised vegetation elements visible in the lower portion of the field flanking the date. The date '2009' appears below the eagle in the lower central field, with the denomination 'ZŁ 2 ZŁ' inscribed beneath it near the rim. The circular legend 'RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA' runs along the upper periphery. The mint mark 'MW' is incorporated within the design.
