| Reverse description | The reverse presents a three-quarter bust portrait of Ignacy Jan Paderewski, the celebrated Polish pianist, composer, and statesman who played a pivotal role in the Greater Poland Uprising of 1918–1919, depicted in a contemplative pose with his right hand raised to his chin. The figure occupies the left-center of the field, which is rendered with a textured granular background. The circular legend '90. ROCZNICA POWSTANIA WIELKOPOLSKIEGO' ('90th Anniversary of the Greater Poland Uprising') arcs along the upper and right periphery in raised Latin lettering. A facsimile signature or inscription appears at the base of the portrait in the lower field. The composition is characteristic of the Polish commemorative Nordic gold series, combining portraiture with historical commemorative text in a restrained, dignified artistic style. |
