| Obverse description | The obverse features the crowned Polish White Eagle, the national emblem, rendered in high relief at the centre of the field, facing right with wings spread. The circular legend RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA arcs along the upper periphery, flanked by decorative dot separators. The date 2009 is divided on either side of the eagle in the lower field, with the denomination numeral 2 and the currency abbreviation ZŁ displayed prominently below the eagle. The mint mark MW appears incuse beneath the eagle's talons. |
