Reverse description The reverse presents a right-facing bust of Brigadier General Stanisław F. Sosabowski in military uniform and characteristic field cap, rendered in a realistic relief portrait style. To the right of the portrait, a stylized winged eagle motif — referencing the emblem of the Polish 1st Independent Parachute Brigade — rises prominently beside his shoulder, accompanied by decorative military insignia and a knotted rope below, alluding to airborne operations. The birth and death years 1892 and 1967 appear to the left of the portrait. The curved legend GEN. BRYG. STANISŁAW F. SOSABOWSKI arcs along the left and bottom periphery of the coin. The engraver's initial R is visible in the lower field.
