Obverse description The Polish state emblem — a crowned white eagle with wings displayed, rendered in high relief — occupies the central field. The eagle faces dexter and features elaborately detailed plumage, with a royal crown above the head. The legend RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA arcs along the upper periphery in Latin characters. Below the eagle, a stylized mountain landscape in low relief flanks the date 2008, with the denomination ZŁ 2 ZŁ inscribed in the lower field. The mint mark MW appears in small characters beneath the eagle.
