Obverse description At centre, the Polish national emblem — a crowned eagle with wings displayed, rendered in high relief. The circular legend RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA arcs along the upper periphery. The date 2005 is divided across the lower field, flanking the eagle's talons, with the mint mark (MW) incorporated. Below, the denomination numeral 2 is prominently displayed in the lower field, flanked by the currency abbreviations ZŁ on either side, separated by a ring of small decorative pellets.
